How does the Green Home Grant work?

Vouchers can be used for home improvements and will cover two-thirds of the cost of eligible measures, up to a maximum government contribution of £5,000. If you, or someone in your household receive certain benefits you may be eligible for a voucher covering 100% of the cost of the energy efficient improvements, with a maximum government contribution of £10,000.

Vouchers can only be used for eligible measures which are split into Primary and Secondary Measures as outlined in point 5.  The voucher must be used to install at least 1 primary measure. If you install at least 1 primary measure, your voucher can be used to help cover the cost of additional secondary measures.  The amount you get towards the cost of secondary measures cannot exceed the amount you get for primary measures.
